The spreader beam is essential for holding the hammock open allowing lots of room and airflow for baby. Always use your hammock with the beam fitted correctly (so it is horizontal) and tied safely in place.
Our wooden spreader beams are hand crafted in New Zealand from sustainably logged South Island Red Beech wood and finished with a natural beeswax polish.
